MCD's Environmental Statement

MCD will continuously examine all aspects of operations with the aim of reducing adverse environmental impact.

This will include consideration of the substances purchased and used with regard to their potential to damage the environment, wherever possible substances identified as having an adverse impact on the environment will be used in a controlled manner and only where no less damaging alternative exists.

The company will ensure that it complies with all statutory requirements and pursues best practice as an objective.

The Board of Directors will seek opportunities to reduce energy consumption and to move towards least possible energy usage for all premises and vehicles.

Every effort will be made to minimise the amount of waste produced by MCD.

The disposal of waste, including hazardous materials, will be carried out by approved contractors who will be audited to ensure that they comply with legislative requirements.
