At the heart of MCD, located near Runcorn in Cheshire, is a purpose-built goods vehicle maintenance facility. This undertakes a variety of work ranging from safety inspections and regular scheduled servicing through to welding and fabrication. Operating a full range of MOT test equipment, MCD is able to prepare all goods vehicles and trailers to test standards for external operators as well as for our own fleet.

The workshop is open day and night from Monday to Saturday, and is manned round the clock by technicians with a wealth of experience, and an inherent objective to get their customers’ vehicles back on the road as quickly as possible.

Due to continued growth MCD is currently looking for commercial vehicle fitters to work at our Runcorn workshop, maintaining our modern fleet of some 200+ car transporters. Working 5 nights a week Monday to Friday carrying out routine servicing and maintenance to our fleet of units and trailers, and ensuring the highest level of standards is always maintained.
