About Us

MCD has been under the same family ownership since 1955, when H T Fielding founded the company. Since acquiring one of the UK’s first multi-deck car transporters in 1956, MCD has continued to keep ahead of the market in terms of technology and service. With a real “can do” attitude to our business and a genuine enthusiasm to be better than the rest.

We are proud of our heritage but continue to look forward, ensuring our ability to react to whatever the market of the future requires of us. With acquisitions of Autocarriers and Vehicle Logistics in mid 2007, we continue to grow, with ambitions to continue this trend into the future.
